Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes

Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes made with Nick Malgieri’s Devil’s Food Cake With Fluffy White Frosting

Those aren’t ice cream cones…those are cupcakes!  My mother used to make these for me to take to school on my birthday, and I wanted to try making them for my son’s birthday celebration with his class this year.

You can prepare any cake batter as directed, then fill ice cream cones about 2/3 full with the batter, and bake until done.  Then pipe frosting on to the cooled cones to resemble ice cream cones!
