Chocolate Chip Comfort Cookies

Chocolate Chip Comfort Cookies, adapted from Bakerella

What makes these double chocolate cookies special enough to be called “comfort cookies”?  Because there is peanut butter in the chocolate dough.  Salivating yet?  These cookies smelled amazing baking in the oven, and came out soft and chewy, tasting of the classic chocolate-peanut butter mix.  I flattened these cookies a bit before baking, and substituted half white chips and half semi-sweet chips for the dark chips called for in this recipe.
