Chocolate-Macadamia Toffee

Chocolate-Macadamia Toffee, adapted from Martha Stewart

The only change I made to Martha’s recipe is subbing in macadamias for the hazelnuts.  Because although my pantry is well-equipped, even I don’t keep hazelnuts on hand.  This is pretty much the perfect candy–it has a little bit of everything. It was also way easy to make a huge quantity of it, making it good for gift-giving.  Don’t let the pound of butter scare you–life’s too short.
